Dr. Madraswalla joined Mansfield Family Practice in 1995. He received his undergraduate degree from Boston University in 1986. He then studied medicine at Albany Medical College and graduated in 1990. He then went on to complete his Residency in Family Practice at the University of Colorado in Denver in 1993. He was in practice in Virginia prior to becoming a part of our practice. Dr. Madraswalla takes an active role in his profession by serving on the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Academy of Family Physicians since 1999, as well as past Councilor to the Connecticut State Medical Society. He has served as President of both the Connecticut Academy of Family Physicians and the Windham County Medical Association. He also enjoys teaching medical students and holds a position as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Connecticut Medical School. Dr. Madraswalla has served asSchool Physician for Windham Regional Vocational Technical School. In 2013 Dr. Madraswalla has also been trained and boarded in the practice of Addiction Medicine by the American Board of Addiction Medicine. His interest within medicine include pediatrics, preventive health care, allergy and asthma treatment along with smoking cessation. He currently serves on the Board of Health Horizons International, www.healthhorizonsinternational.org, a foundation created to support medical humanitarian missions in developing countries such as the Dominican Republic. Dr. Madraswalla is married with two children and enjoys many activities including reading, cooking, tennis, skiing, traveling, bicycling and spending time with his family.
