Mansfield Family Practice has been serving people of all ages throughout Tolland County and Windham County since 1976. Mansfield Family Practice provides a full range of medical services for patients from infancy through adulthood. We participate with many insurance companies. Our electronic medical record system allows rapid communication with hospitals, specialists, laboratories and pharmacies.

Mansfield Family Practice is affiliated with Windham Community Memorial Hospital and Hartford Hospital but is privately owned.

In addition to primary care, Mansfield Family Practice offers a variety of other services. We are equipped to provide many treatments and tests right here in the office; these include cardiac and pulmonary testing, lab tests, joint injections, cryotherapy and minor surgery.
Travel medicine, Addiction medicine and Sports medicine are areas in which we have specialized training and experience. DOT and FAA Aviation Medical Exams are also offered.

Congratulations to Ayaz Madraswalla, MD who was awarded Preceptor of the Year!

For years, Dr. Madraswalla has mentored many students at Mansfield Family Practice. He was nominated by medical students at Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University and is so deserving of this esteemed award.

Here is what one of the students said about Dr. Madraswalla:
“He is always going the extra mile to show interest and engagement when interacting. He prides himself on knowing his patients and their families and will always mention a topic they discussed in a previous visit. More than just serving his own community here in Connecticut he works abroad in the Dominican Republic to build clinical networks that support long term services to the most underserved people in the world. He constantly explains topics that go beyond the material from class and also provides valuable context for evidence based medicine, value based medicine, preventative health standards, logistical concerns in operations of a practice, continuing education and the history of medicine. Dr. Madraswalla still makes house calls to accommodate some of his elderly patients as well. I have no shame in saying that I want to model myself on the example he has set and think the world would be a better place if we had more doctors like him.”
